We hope you’ve been enjoying these very forested pages! British Columbia (The province where Vancouver and Whistler are located) is absolutely filled with dense, lush forestry. It is the source of great Canadian pride, and is also a biological and ecological marvel! The importance of maintaining these forests is a concern that is very near and dear to so many people, Canadian or otherwise. Unfortunately, due to global warming and a very dry summer, BC is suffering from some of the most damaging forest fires we have seen in years. We are taking this opportunity to showcase some beautiful Canadian forestry, and to provide some information on what we can do to assist in the management of these fires. Thanks for your time!
